'Maria Clara' Filipiniana Alampay (Ivory White) Barong and full of celebratory energyAs seen on the runway at the QAFF Flower Show 2025. The Alampay, also known as Kandungga or Panuelo, is the feature piece of a Maria Clara outfit; the stunning shawl that wraps around Maria Clara's blouse. A modern take on the classic Maria Clara is to wear the Alampay on its own, over an evening dress or skirt & blouse ensemble. The Alampay is a subtle nod to your Filipino heritage, leaving you looking and feeling like an elegant, modern Filipina.
