An Iron Cross paty constructed of bronze and blackened core, non magnetic, the obverse centre bears the cipher W (for Wilhelm), the 12 oclock arm bears a crown and the 6 oclock arm bears the date 1914, the reverse is plain and bears a vertical flat tapered pinback with a round wire catch, marked L 12 (for C. E. Juncker, Berlin) measuring 43. 95 mm, weighing 17 g, very
