Domaine du Clos des Rocs, Pouilly-Loche "Clos des Rocs" Monopole, 2023 palinkerie holiday box a fantastic introduction to Suntory'sconnais winemakers, acquired this domaine in 2002. The Clos des Rocs is a 3 hectare walled monopole vineyard in lieu dit "Les Mres" with 85 year old Chardonnay vines planted in an ancient limestone quarry. Giroux is the largest owner in the tiny Pouilly Loch appellation (just 32 hectares total). Organic viticulture, native yeast fermentation, aged 13 months in 500 liter casks, bottled unfined and unfiltered.
