Constructed of gilded zink, the obverse consisting of an eight pointed radiant star, overlaid by a central rosette within a laurel leaf wreath, with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the reverse with a barrel hinge and banjo style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked with Prsidialkanzlei code 100 for Wchtler & Lange, Mittweida, measuring
