A Narvik Campaign Shield constructed of stamped cupal, the shield features a national eagle with swooped down wings, clutching a wreathed swastika, inscribed NARVIK in capital letters, with an Edelweiss flower (representing the Heer) in the center between the date 1940 and a crossed anchor (representing the Kriegsmarine) and propeller (representing the Luftwaffe) in the centre, all four prongs that attach the shield to the
