A Destroyer War Badge, Variation 2, by Schwerin consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac both on loop for suspension(Zerstrerkriegsabzeichen). Constructed of gilded and silvered tombak, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, surrounding a Kriegsmarine destroyer cutting through waves, with its bow extending beyond the edge of the wreath, the reverse with a block hinge and tapering horizontal pinback meeting a flattened and rounded catch,
