Vintage Bakelite (simichrome tested) faux tortoiseshell and sterling silver 1920s to 1930s statement bib necklace, lovely phenolic channel_set unsigned here but clearly SphinxFabulous vintage statement bib necklace with enormous panels of beautifully shaped faux tortoiseshell bakelite. The bakelite pieces are set in sterling silver with decorative 'rope' style connecting pieces in silver. There are sections of double silver snake chain on either side of the neck and then some sections of large link silver chains and a secure spring ring clasp stamped 'sterling'.
