This carved eagle came from a collection assembled over a period of 30 years. I acquired a few of them. Earlier we offered carved eagles with banners. One had a banner that said "Don't give up the ship," and the other, "Live and let live." This is a different design, with an eagle and two flags. The carving is in the style of John Haley Bellamy, a famous wood carver whose eagles are well known.
