Painted Bikaner Shrine Shutters - 18thC Green Porcelain 10 x 10 x 23This pretty shutter is from Bikaner in Rajasthan, a city that is famous for its fine painting of boxes and the interiors of buildings. The central focus is the Mughal tree of life design which is surrounded by flowing floral motifs. A simple latch spans the two shutters and the back is painted a simple red.
