Originally, this painted sideboard would have been used to store bedding and clothes. It opened from the top, but to make it more practical to use the front panels have been modified to doors and internal shelves. Unusual for this type of piece the bottom carving has been converted into 2 very handy drawers at the bottom of the sideboard. Such a beautiful piece of furniture
