Vivianite miniature silvery “bent” crystalIn the early 1980's, the Morococala mine produced some of the largest and most spectacular Vivianite specimens in history. An incredibly large "room" of crystals was discovered, producing giant plates of crystals and individual singles measuring up to 60 cm (!) which were just pouring out of the mine for very a brief period of time. Then the mine manager decided that the miners were too distracted collecting Vivianite and not attending to their duties
