with a gorgeous satiny interior

The piece features dozens of “rosettes” of tan Siderite which are sitting atop rather lustrous

the quality is certainly better than most from this mine

You can see in the last photo that the crystal displays a superb deep red fluorescence under UV light

Matrix specimens of this material are not common, let alone fine quality, gemmy, aesthetic groups on matrix. I didnt label this piece as being one of the Blood Vessel Opals as its mostly colorless and doesnt really have much for inclusions like the majority of the pieces in this
