Blue and White Fleur de Lis Shield Tile by Franklin Mercer The edges have been glazedA glossy white fleur de lis is pressed into a matte blue shield tile made at the Franklin Tile Company (1923 1935) in Lansdale PA. The tile measures 9" tall and 6 1 2" wide. The edges have been glazed so that the shield could be face mounted. It has three impressed marks on the back "Franklin Pottery Faience". In very good condition with a few glaze pops in the white glaze and a few nicks and rubs along the edges.
