The style of work is called Phad Chitra and it is a religious depiction of folk deities Pabuji and Devnarayan that can run up to 30 feet in length

All finishing is done in our workshops in Wiltshire

This dramatic cabinet would have been used to store food and cooking utensils in a Japanese kitchen. The frame is is contructed from hinoki (cypress) & sugi (cryptomeria) woods.
