Cricket Bat Oil standard-bat as the bat has undergone100ml of pure raw linseed oil, the only oil you should put on a cricket bat. It keeps the willow from drying out and helps guard against moisture. A few drops on the face and edges, smeared in with your fingers a couple of times a season, is plenty. Not boiled, not white, not any other oil. Just raw linseed, the same oil we use in the workshop.
