Each tile measures 6 inches square making this scene 18 inches long. It shows a pair of cherubs balancing on a tree branch. One aims his bow and arrow at a bird, who in turn ducks his head under his wing in anticipation. Originally these were used as decoration above a fireplace or in a vestibule entering a home. Now these antique tiles can be
