The image is deeply carved, the brick red background and one side is stippled with a stiff brush. There are two manufactured holes for mounting. Measures 5 3 4" tall, 5 3 4" wide and 3 4" thick. Excellent original condition. I purchased a few of these animal related tiles years ago in Florida. Certainly part of a larger mural, where the stippled sides acted as a finished
