Flight I In Miniature Limited edition of 100Clay, coloured slips and 24 carat gold leaf 25 x 22 x 22cm Sonja Taylor Jones studied jewellery design in Bristol but in recent years has found a new love for working with clay and colour. These vessels are inspired by the British coast with birds wheeling through clear blue skies and also of what can lies beneath the seas. Their form is reminiscent of found objects that have spent years hidden in a wreck of a tea clipper or schooner that met its end
