Wallisia 'Emilie' (formerly Tillandsia) VIPP 1-27-20 Since then it has enteredAn old hybrid of (lindenii x cyanea) done by David Barry back in the 1950's is a perfect combination of the two. The plant is more robust than either parent, with a taller spike than cyanea, broader than lindenii and with large, blue fragrant flowers. Unfortunately it never caught on and has remained rather rare in cultivation, but still persists after many years. Cultivation is as with cyanea, potted and moist, in bright indirect light.
