The head is slightly longer which gives more grab when screwing at a slight angle. The screw is made of galvanized steel with a "lifelong" plastic coating. It has a very pointed tip for pulling through light sheet metal quickly and easily. We also carry 1 1 2" woodgrip drill screws with a washer.
