In the 1980s, Martin's father shifted to fruit wine production as the popularity of German wines decreased overall thanks to an over saturated market and various scandals. After studying viticulture and interning at multiple wineries, Martin restarted winemaking at the family estate. Today, alongside his partner Alanna, Marto cultivates numerous
