Glue, paint and finishing supplies not included. The P 47D Thunderbolt was a large fighter aircraft developed and deployed by the U. S. Army during World War II. It was powered by the Pratt & Whitney R 2800, an 18 cylinder, air cooled radial engine, producing 2,000 horsepower. Equipped with an exhaust turbine, it boasted a top speed of 690 km h. Its first flight was in May 1941. It participated in the European
