but can be stated with some certainty that when 4415 was constructed light grey was the standard colour in which the loco was painted

There were various detail differences and the design was adaptable to different gauges. The last, works number 1158 of 1909, was part of an order of 6 locomotives but remained in stock with the builder until 1917 until sold to work on the 2' gauge Kerry Tramway in mid Wales. Following the closure of the tramway the loco moved on to the Oakeley Quarry
