The Albert Clock was erected in 1865 in Gothic style to commemorate Queen Victoria's late Prince Consort, Prince Albert. It was built on land reclaimed from the River Lagan, the "Albert Clock" features a statue of Prince Albert as well as ornately carved crowned lions and floral decorations.
