The sterling silver Claddagh Crown band has been handcrafted in Ireland and comes beautifully boxed. It has a florentine finish giving it a matted look rather than shiny. It is really stunning on and makes a wonderful thumb ring. Legend has it that the Claddagh symbol was originated by Richard Joyce, a Galway seafarer kidnapped by pirates and sold into slavery in North Africa
