The design of the tartan brings the blue and white colors of both the Israeli and Scottish flags with the central gold line representing the gold from the Ark in the Biblical Tabernacle and the many ceremonial vessels. The silver represents the Scroll of the Law and red is fro the traditional Kiddush wine. The ties come in two widths. Skinny width is 7cm
