This whisky was aged in oak barrels that previously contained Muscat wine from Rutherglen just across the river in Victoria

but allow the higher fruit notes to shine

Bright and fresh ginger spice lingering

Pedro Ximenez and an Oloroso/Pedro blend cask

Official Tasting Notes THE NOSE STONE FRUIT, BOLD PORT WINE AND BUTTERY, YET SWEETENED, SPICED AROMA. THE PALATE RED BERRIED WINES, DRIED DARK FRUIT, ORANGE ZEST, HAZELNUT OAK WARMTH WITH A TOUCH OF SWEET DARK CHOCOLATE AND RUBY TOBACCO. THE FINISH BRINGS A LINGERING BROWN SUGAR, ANZAC BISCUIT AND EARTHY NOTES.
