Ayers Pear Home Page Introduced by Fred Ashworth in50F with occasional injury. Yellow with rosy overlay. Ripens in early September. Medium size fruit; very flavorful and sweet. An Anjou cross that grows well in Danville, VT. Skin is rose tinted, somewhat russeted. Tree shape quite columnar. Resistant to fireblight. 3 5 foot trees.
