A sandstorm was approaching, which reduced visibility but created a soft, golden atmosphere over the water. The stillness of the lake made the scene feel quiet and calm, even with the storm on the way. I took this photo because I was drawn to that contrast the muted tones, the minimalism it was literally the calm before the storm. Printed on Fine Art Hahnemhle Photo Rag 308 gsm paper. Each print
