CA-70S Benson Chimera Created concurrently to the recordingPaying homage to the classic American two stage circuit originally manufactured in the 1930's through the 1950's, the CA 70S perfectly encapsulates the huge thick tone that is what many consider to be the quintessential old tube preamp sound. Utilizing our component level modeling technology and meticulous refinements with the team at Coil Audio, we were able to bring the sought after sound of old octal tube circuits into the modern world.
