Kilchoman Madeira Cask 1st release 2015 50%ABV 30ml dark chocolate enriched with pureReleased in late 2015, this is the first Madeira Cask released by Kilchoman. Its a little younger than later Madeira releases and the nose is a bit harsh smoke with intense peat and raisins from the first fill madeira cask. The distillate and peat are more robust and are less overpowered by the cask than later releases, nice oily mouthfeel and luscious sweet fruit and nut dark chocolate bar notes on the palate.
