This hand knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak rug features a cross like centre medallion in an abrashed scarlet red field. Gray spandrels filled with rosettes, animals and symbolic Anatolian motifs outlined with a stepped edge are found in each corner. A simple zigzag saw tooth border frames the medallion and spandrels. Two rectangular bands are found on either end and separated by a beige meander guard
