Goldfish eye catching I can see the farmer’s

I can see the farmer’s fields behind it

soon they will wake and a riot of pink will greet me

It has been coated with a satin varnish to protect the pigments

I look unseen at the surrounding gardens and the startling colour in the sunlight

The abstract nature of the ghostly wild roses and the depth of colour within the fallen leaves is offset by beautiful delicate butterflies which hover in the suns rays

I was fortunate to visit a beautiful arboretum and whilst walking through the grounds I came upon a small pond full of goldfish. Trees shaded the water and the colourful fish swam freely and effortlessly in the shade of the branches whilst the sun shimmered upon the surface of the water.
