It is then filtered using carbon to remove the colour and heavier oak tones, to leave a clear rum with a soft mouth feel but still full of the diverse, and elaborate characteristics of molasses, together with a hint of oak and vanilla. An expertly crafted balance between the sweetness of oak and molasses and the heat of alcohol, that
