Sumax battery cables consist of superthick 2 gauge 180Amp rated cable to supply maximum electricity to the startermotor, but still flexible since it is made of over 2000(!) bare copper strands. Cables are covered by a synthetic thermo rubber jacket. Terminals are closed barrel style, with tin plated copper eyelets which are sealed with black heat shrinktubing to prevent moisture problems.
