Aechmea magdalenae 'Quadricolor' AUSTRALIA The inflorescence is typical ofA large growing terrestrial species that is found from Mexico to Colombia and Ecuador. A giant grower in nature, to over six feet tall, the variety quadricolor has been cultivated as a pot plant for years and is kept much smaller. Still though with a large pot and good fertilization the plants can reach about 4 feet across. The spectacularly variegated form has a broad yellowish white stripe up the center of the leaves. The leaves bear large but well
