Museum-quality giclée print on archival paper

With rich layers of colour and beautifully textured brushwork

Photograph of a large white chrysanthemum flower submerged in water with bright colourful inks

It features a wee something I wrote that goes -Morning spent the nightThe day left by noonWeeks flew byBecoming June too soonAs Autumn suns runs downOctober rolled overToo tired to remember NovemberBefore decades frayAnd low Winter light takes awayStop and feed the birds

Pastoral Print 120 x 70 x 4cmCreated during a period where I was an artist in residence, "Pastoral" was created as a response to the local environment. A physical reaction to the built and natural environment of a Victorian town by the Thames Estuary. Repetitive motifs of maps and organic forms are interwoven to create a pattern, softened by the pastel palette. Mixed Media on Canvas (Acrylic, acrylic ink) Framed in a wooden (oak coloured) float frame. Canvas 53cm (w) x 62cm (h)
