The Police's Sting digital portrait STHGold I don’t move around theSting is an English musician, singer, songwriter and actor. He was frontman, songwriter and bassist for The Police from 1977 to 86. In his early career, Sting played jazz in his spare time with the Phoenix Jazzmen, where he got his nickname from his habit of wearing a black and yellow jumper with hooped stripes.
