Pololu 5V 3A Step-Up/Step-Down Voltage Regulator S13V30F5 9v 1a and then uploaded to the5V that survives battery sag. This Pololu buck boost regulator holds a steady 5V while the input swings anywhere from 2. 8V to 22V, so a battery pack can discharge right through 5V without browning out your logic. Good for around 3A continuous depending on input voltage and cooling, at 85 to 95% typical efficiency.
