The Ferry and the Anchor Contemporary Haensgen challenges us to look76cm x 76cm square original painting. Acrylic paint with collage elements. Varnished and side painted. This work was made in St. Ives and references the sea and the detris of humans working, playing, dreaming and living in this place. The light of St Ives is an incredible draw for any painter and I have tried to capture that quality here. The painting comes with hanging string D rings. As it is side painted it does not need a frame to hang.
