This attaches to the exit of the heater blower chamber to allow the aluminium duct pipe to attach to the heater blower. Manufactured to give a tight clip on fit to the blower. The original part is prone to disintegration over time and is not (and never was) available as a separate OE part. Ideal if yours has failed and no longer
