Kilchoman Red Wine Cask 2017 Release 50%ABV 30ml Scotland Expect pine needlesThe first Red wine cask limited edition from Kilchoman bottled in 2017. This Kilchoman was matured for over 5 years exclusively in red wine casks from Portugal's Douro Valley (rather than the standard x Bourbon). The peat is middling to strong with additional hints of ripe plum, pepper, kipper and mezcal. Semi sweet on entry developing with hints of green banana, then more bitter dark chocolate through the oily peat. Delicate lanolin and tobacco
